The NCPA theatre is committed to preserve and promote India’s rich cultural heritage and serving as a platform for Indian and International artists from a diverse range of genres.
The british theatrical sensation has now become a truly global phenomenon with an infectious mix of percussion, dance, theatre and comedy with a background track inspired by the humdrum of everyday life.
Creators and co-directors Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas have created a theatrical experience never witnessed before – lively, thrilling and bursting with energy. Stomp’s Indian tour will consist of 8 different shows, with each performance featuring a troupe of 8 artists.

The performers are trained and create rhythmic sequences using ordinary objects such as bins, boots, bottles and brooms. Each member of the group has a distinct personality that comes out when they interact with each other ensuring engaging and immensely entertaining performances.
In times where electronic music and dance festivals are pulling the Indian audiences, this show will be witnessed by people who long for something different and something out of the box. Stomp musical at NCPA theatre has always promoted talent irrespective of genre, country or its openness.
There is no barrier to the creativity and their magic and they tend to reinvent it time to time when it comes to innovating new ways for the audiences. This ground breaking concept is already getting applause from all over the world and is ready to rock the Indian Theatrics next month.
