Datsun India has launched the Redi-GO on 7th of June 2016. It was in 2014 that the car maker had revealed the concept model of the Redi GO at the Delhi Auto Expo.
The front fascia of the Redi-GO comes with a smartly styled bonnet which is flanked by a pair of stylish head lamps in swept back style that come with integrated turn lights and the radiator grille is designed in the typical Datsun hexagonal style in the front with its chrome accented borders. The front bumper adds an aggressive stance to this vehicle with its chrome slats and prominent lines that flow along its side profile. The rear wind shield is placed high up and the tail lamps are stacked vertically to add an appeal. Datsun India has been banking on the Redi Go with the intent to grab a handsome market share in the entry level small car category of the Indian car market. As of now, the Datsun Redi Go will come with an 800 cc petrol engine, which will be generating output of 53 BHP and max torque of 72 Nm. The company will initially offer a five speed manual transmission model of the Redi Go with plans to release an AMT model in future.
