Mahindra & Mahindra, the Indian car maker has launched their much awaited compact SUV, the KUV100 in India. The KUV100 is the smallest SUV from the house of this Indian car maker.

The small SUV KUV100 is available in two types of seating arrangements, 5 seater and 6 seater. The gear knob is mounted onto the dash board which thus offers extra space for the third occupant in the front quite easily. The cabin of the Mahindra KUV 100 has been touched with silver accents and the console is at the centre. For safety of the occupants, this car comes equipped with dual airbags and ABS with EBD. All variants of the KUV 100 have been provided with these safety features as standard. Both petrol and diesel models are available for this car which is driven by the mFalcon G80 petrol and mFalcon D75 diesel engines. Both engines come with a 5 speed manual transmission system. The Mahindra KUV100 promises to be extremely fuel efficient offering a mileage of 25.32 kmpl for the diesel and 18.15 kmpl for the petrol car.
Mahindra KUV 100 price for the petrol model with airbags starts at Rs 5.26 lakh, while the diesel model without airbags starts at Rs. 5.94 lakh in Delhi. Mahindra KUV 100 TCO is around 5.29 lakh for the diesel and 6.99 lakh for the petrol variant.
Tata Taigo
The all new Tiago from the house of our very own Indian car maker Tata Motors looks peppy and freshly designed. The new Tata Tiago has been given a young and innovative look with enhanced car dynamics to deliver sheer driving pleasure.
Tiago has been designed in a totally different way than all the other existing cars from Tata. It no way bears any similarity to any of the other Tata cars. This car has been styled with good proportions, making it look quite pleasant. The interiors are very elegant and comfortable, just like any of its rival hatchback cars. Adding to that, the console at the centre of the dash comes fitted with the Harman infotainment system with added features like Bluetooth and aux-in connectivity to sync with the smart phones. Tiago is sufficient on space with decent leg space and shoulder room and an amazing boot space of 240 litre. Powering the Tiago are the newly developed twin 3 cylinder engines – the 1.2 Litre Revotron petrol and the 1.05 Revotorq diesel engines, which offer fantastic fuel efficiency. The petrol engine returns 17.2 kmpl and the diesel one returns 18.8 kmpl on city roads. Tata Tiago has smooth controls making for a high class driving experience.
Tata Tiago price starts at 3.51 lakh and goes up to 6.10 lakh in Delhi, while Tata Tiago TCO is estimated to be around 4.67 lakh.
