3 Simple Home Remedies Against Dandruff
Dandruff is probably the most common problem your hair faces. Today, we’ll give you 3 great home remedies against dandruff.
1. Olive Oil
Olive oil has many applications, and one of the most popular uses of it is the prevention of dandruff. Since dandruff is usually the result of a dry scalp, the use of olive oil is more than welcome in the fight against it. Rub warm (not hot!) oil in your hair before washing it. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes before shampooing. Or, you can rub warm olive oil on your scalp before going to bed. Leave it on during the night, and wash it off in the morning.
2. Yogurt And Pepper
One of the easiest ways to suppress dandruff. Applied on your scalp, the yogurt has a calming effect and prevents further peeling of the skin. Pepper acts as antifungal agent. Crumble two teaspoons of black pepper. Add a cup of yogurt to the pepper. Thoroughly mix it and rub it on your scalp. Leave it on for about an hour, and wash it off.
3. Lemon Juice
Lemon juice is a great anti-fungal agent, making it the primary ingredient for the hair mask intended for combating dandruff. Mix the lemon juice and coconut oil in a one-to-five ratio. Gently spread the mixture on your scalp and leave it on for between 20 and 30 minutes. Rinse it using a mild shampoo. We recommend regular use of lemon to solve dandruff. Lemon juice is considered to be a natural bleach due to the presence of citric acid, but it doesn’t bleach your hair.
