Skoda Superb – Spectacular Seating
The seats have more thigh support and passengers can literally feel the spaciousness inside. There are footrests attached to the floor although sitting in the middle of the rear passenger seat is a little uncomfortable since the seat is on the harder side and you are somewhat closer to the roof in this case.
The central tunnel is large and there is a rear AC vent temperature control but blower control is missing. There are no B pillar vents this time around as well. There is a humidity sensor for the cabin as well. The Superb makes use of the MQB platform. The design is quite similar inside to the Octavia in terms of the steering wheel, central console and instrument panel.
There is the nice bottle holder with grip, the boot release is excellent and there is a system which limits opening height. 625 litres of boot space which can be increased to 1760 litres by folding the rear seats. There are side luggage box, cargo net options and several hooks. There are two umbrellas in the doors as well.
The Superb is a comfortable and smooth car even at high speeds. The car feels stable although, with the soft suspension setup, there is a fair amount of body roll and pitching over poorer surfaces. Cornering is not the best but the steering wheel and brakes feel great.
