The new Chevrolet Cruze 2016 will come with swept back head lights, a steep raking wind screen, a gently sloping roofline at the rear portion and an overall sleek appearance. Dimensionally, the next gen Cruze comes with a longer wheel base and overall length. This has made the cabin quite spacious with extra leg space. Externally, the car is entirely redesigned and made more aerodynamic, as compared to the outgoing version.
As far as features are concerned, the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze has been given high class touch screen infotainment system along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In international car markets the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze is driven by a 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates 153bhp and 240Nm of max torque. In India, this car will be driven by a 2.0 litre turbo diesel engine that is capable of producing 164bhp and 360Nm of max torque while the transmission options will include a 6 speed manual as well as automatic gearbox.
Since the launch of the new Chevrolet Cruze in India is quite far away, it is very tough to comment on its price. However, we can safely expect the car to come with a price above INR 15 lakh (ex-showroom).
